The Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program

The Capstone Group has served as a host site for The Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program every summer since 2019, providing hands-on work experience for youth ages 16 – 24. In 2021, The Capstone Group was awarded a $50,000 grant from The DC Department of Employment Services to expedite a work readiness and growth industry sector program for 25 youth who were enrolled in the MBSYEP Program. The Capstone Group successfully implemented this 6-week program.
