5 ACTIONS THAT WE SHOULD TAKE NOW THAT BLACKBURN TAKEOVER HAS ENDED

• PAY IT FORWARD – HELP A STUDENT PROTESTOR LEADER with TUITION. Many times students are pushed out of school for failure to pay exorbitant tuition and fees – this isn’t fair at all especially when these students have fought for 33 consecutive days and nights for a “better Howard University” for all. At least two Blackburn Protest Leaders have been unfairly expelled from Howard University for their participation in Blackburn Takeover and speaking out for non-union faculty rights. • RAISE OUR VOICES TO REINSTATE STUDENT, FACULTY AND ALUMNI SEATS on the Howard University Board of Trustees.
  Apply Pressure on the HU BOT by writing them and others to demand reinstatement. HU ADMINISTRATION GETS AN F IN DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE without students, faculty and alumni votes & voices.
