The Capstone Group mentors youth all year round by hosting DC youth ages 16 – 21 in two DC Department of Employment Services Programs. From October until August, Capstone Members & Volunteers teach youth work readiness skills in The School Year Internship Program and The Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program. Since 2019, The Capstone Group, with help from youth development partners: ARS, The Black Experience and Chronicle Vision, has successfully provided hands-on training in video production, theater and career development to approximately 100 youth.
